Free & spiritual weddings in Mexico – Inselboda & Casa Arkaana
Your love is calling you to Mexico – to where the Mayan jungle meets the sea and ceremonies feel like powerful rituals for life.
Together with the eco-conscious retreat centre Casa Arkaana in the jungle of Tulum, I support you with personal, non-religious wedding ceremonies in the heart of nature: classic and simply free – or as a spiritual wedding with deep rituals, cacao, temazcal & more.
This also includes accommodation and catering on site – as an all-inclusive package for your jungle wedding.
Why Mexico & Tulum for your free ceremony?
Mexico combines powerful nature, vibrant culture and a very special spirituality. Around Tulum you will find:
- lush jungle
- close proximity to Caribbean beaches
- an open, conscious community
- many offerings around transformation, rituals and inner growth
All this makes Mexico ideal for couples who want to get married in a completely free, spiritual and conscious way – far from classic wedding fuss and closer to themselves.
Casa Arkaana – your jungle retreat on the Riviera Maya
Casa Arkaana is a private, eco-conscious retreat and event centre in the Mayan jungle near Tulum, just a few minutes from the beach and the cenotes.
The place was created for retreats, ceremonies, conscious weddings and small groups who want to arrive and ground themselves in nature. Among other things, you can expect:
- a maloka for ceremonies and circles
- a Lakota-inspired temazcal (sweat lodge)
- a fire circle under the open sky
- a natural pool in the jungle
- unique accommodation options (glamping, luxury rooms, etc.)
- paths through the forest for silence and connection
With ensuite rooms, jungle casitas and glamping tents, up to around 20 guests can stay here comfortably – perfect for elopements for two or small retreat weddings with your loved ones.
Free ceremony or spiritual wedding – you choose the frame
“Classic” free ceremony in the middle of the jungle
Are you dreaming of a free ceremony that is personal, emotional and warm – but without many additional rituals?
Then we create a wedding ceremony that feels like you:
- your story of how you met & the journey you have shared
- personal words and an individual wedding speech
- small symbols or a simple ritual (e.g. ring ritual, wishes from your guests, handfasting – if you like)
- music, readings or contributions from your loved ones
The nature of the jungle, the light and the sounds create the setting. You decide whether the vibe should be more relaxed and boho or more ceremonial and festive.
Spiritual wedding with ceremonies & rituals
If you feel that your love wants to be celebrated on a heart and soul level, your wedding in Mexico can go even deeper. Together with the spirit of Casa Arkaana we integrate, if you wish, for example:
- a cacao ceremony to open the heart
- a ritual with the four elements (earth, water, fire, air)
- a temazcal ceremony (in cooperation with Casa Arkaana) as cleansing and new beginning
- heart meditation, channelling or intention circle
- blessings in a circle with your loved ones by the fire or in the maloka
Together we discuss what suits you, your story and your boundaries – and create a wedding ceremony that truly reflects who you are.
